Number 29 – Be Grateful For What You’ve Got

After a couple of days without a boiler, we now have our hot water and central heating back up and running. Losing your hot water and heating in the middle of December is a really useful reminder to be grateful for the little things that we often take for granted.

This year has been tricky for all of us. It has been a year when we’ve been deprived of much – time with family and friends, work, holidays, trips to the theatre and so much more. Hard as it is whilst you’re in the middle of it, this is also an opportunity to recognise the things that we take for granted most of the time. To recognise what we have still got and be grateful for those things.

So, even if it’s just being grateful for hot water and central heating, take a little bit of time to consider the things you often forget and just be grateful for what you’ve got.
