Number 22 – Look After Yourself When You’re Busy

Just a short blog today as I’ve had a busy day of workshops. But wanted to share the thought that we often stop doing the things that are important when we’re busy. Going for our runs, talking to family and friends, eating well, meditating. All of these things tend to be the first to go when we’re under pressure with work commitments.

I would urge you (and I’m really trying to do this myself) to keep up these habits as best you can especially when you’re busy.

They are there to protect you from burnout and exhaustion. They help keep your head clear and your mind focussed.

So, when you feel overwhelmed by how busy you are, force yourself to do those little bits of self-care. You’ll thank yourself for it.
